Memphis Zoo

Last weekend our family took a trip to see my parents in Memphis.  One of our usual destinations while we are there is the Memphis Zoo.  Click the pic for more photos.  Beware, lots of family photos.

Fishing!

I got a chance to take my three youngest kids fishing on Saturday.  Courtney (9) caught two, Skyler(5) caught one and Brooklyn (2) ran around.

I got a chance to go paintballing today for the first time ever. Wow! I could get hooked on this. The weather was rainy, muddy and chilly. We had a blast slopping around the course. I hope to be able to do this again. Click on the pic for more.

Rainy Day

Broken Elbow

Skyler fell off the monkey bars while at P.E. today. The doctor says he broke the tip of his elbow. He is scheduled to see a pediatric specialist on Monday to put a cast on it and check it over after the initial swelling has gone down. For now, he has it splinted and is not supposed to get it wet for a couple days. I reckon it will put a cramp in his style for a while.   Here he is trying to get comfortable in bed.

Airshow!

Saturday, I took my son, Skyler, to the airshow in Pensacola, FL. We took several friends along with us and enjoyed the day in the sun.  There was much speed, smoke and noise with a few quiet types thrown in for variety.  I am already looking forward to next year’s show!
